I guess I'm used to the Marvin from the tv series and the one I pictured in my head while reading H2G2 orignially. But, it's a pretty funny robot and it should be funny.
I am hoping that Hammer and Tongs are hard-core DNA fans and will follow Peter Jackson's example of how to turn a book into a movie, rather than, say, what they did to "I Robot".

The red photoshopped one isn't as cool when you view it full size.
