Lazier Than Stink
I'm fresh out of blogging topics today. I'm thinking about posting about a post about a post. From Wheelson's Metrotronic blog to be exact. Funny stuff. That way, I've posted without having to really think, which sounds pretty good to me. My brain's all used-up today.
See, I bet myself that I could work the whole morning without checking my blog, and I did it. It's a big deal - believe me. I got a lot of work done too. But now all my think nuggets are shriveled up little bits of flotsam and jetsam and I need time to replenish. So, just linking to a post where someone actually took the time to think seems easier than having to think myself.
I apologize for my laziness, but I know you'll enjoy Wheelson's efforts.

Good non-written post, BTW.
I wish I felt comfortable checking my weblog or posting from work. But, you never know who is watching when you work for a school system. Once I had a link to a weblog, I think Melly's Ordinary Morning, that said, "I suck at blowjobs, it's a pun, just a pun," on my machine at work. I deleted that damn thing ten times and they kept restoring it to my favorites list. Good thing they never actually read the thing, cuz I could probably get fired for that shit.
Morality clause in the contract, don't you know.
That's where yas miss out on being unemployed. I can check the blog any time. ('cept when the family is in the room and might figure out and ranting about them on the internet.)
I can relate to the 'all out of blogging topics'. I find that I get brilliant blogging topic ideas at the most unsuitable times such as when I am driving in peak hour traffic,in the middle of dinner with the family or late at night. Of course, when I eventually get around to typing, usually my mind instantly turns to mush and nonsensical jibberish flows forth!
Amelia: my late grandfather used to get most of his inspiration in the middle of the night. He began to keep pencils and stacks of index cards on his night table. When the lightning bolt hit him, he'd wake up, write his idea down, then go back to sleep. In the morning, he'd collect the results of his night's work and make sense of it all. One night, he had more than 70 cards on the floor!
He said he had to capture the thought as it occurred, even if he had to briefly get out of bed to do so. If he waited till morning, it would be gone.
These days, I use my PalmPilot in a similar manner. As long as there's a way to quickly capture your thought, you can always come back to it later on when you have the time.
Sprizee - I hear you. I didn't do as well in the afternoon.
Chellee - I guess if you work in the kind of place where someone complains about your underpants, you wouldn't really want to be checking your blog!
Richard - I need to find a way to stay at home and still be able to pay my mortgage. Thoughts?
Amelia - I also often think, "that should be my post topic today". And then I forget.
Wheelson - No probs. I'm addicted to your blog.
Carmi - I should really do that too. Also - do you realize that your comment is longer than my entire post?
Selling organs on the black market?
Lol. I'll look into that.
