I'm Still Alive

Sorry for not posting for a while. I'm still alive, just crazy busy as I've recently changed jobs. I've gone back to project management. Silly girl. I'm climbing the learning curve right now. When I get to the other side, I'll start posting again.

Cheers!

Wow. You do like to keep busy, don't you?

How's your novel coming? Every bit that you've posted has been interesting, so I keep hoping for more.

Oh, and you're going to have to change your blogger description, because you're not an IT writer any more. I suggest that you keep this one handy, though, for the next time you flip back. :)

Hey....

Been a very long time since I've poked my nose in here, but you know how it goes.

I have to ask you....What did you think of the HGTTG movie?

Sigh.

Hey Dean - Yeah - I meant to change the description, but you know how it goes - I got busy and forgot. The novel is going nowhere fast, unlike your impressive progress. I've really got to push myself to keep writing.

TJ - The movie. Hmm. I had heard that it wasn't that great before I saw it so I tried to go in with an open mind. Alas, it wasn't up to what I had hoped. It was dumbed down and homogenized. All the set-up lines were there without the punchlines. There were a few good moments, like the dolphins, but it was a bit disappointing. My 10 year old son, who read the books, enjoyed it, and maybe that's who it was marketed for. I don't think that Douglas would have liked it.

I've begun advance-scheduling my time to keep the sidebar and other infrastructure-like bits of the blog up-to-date. I think late 2007 is my next CSS/XML editing session.

Until then, I'll focus on words that, like, bring in money. Them's my favorites.

Yeah...I watched it the other day, and was pretty disappointed...

I mean, really. It was wrong from the opening narration. The story does not start with a man, it starts with a house.

Went downhill for me from there. And what was up with the totally made up excursion to Vogsphere?

I'm glad that I didn't have to pay to see it.
