Lose Some, Lose Some
It was a sad week for London Ontario, having lost the new Shriner's Children's Hospital bid to Montreal. Those wily Francophones outsmarted us at the last minute.
On the plus side, we beat out Paris for the 2012 Olympic Games, so that's something, I guess.
Oh. Wait a second...

Stupid &^%$#@! Quebecers!
Hey wait, I AM a Quebecer. But not one of THOSE Quebecers. I'm one of the few who got out with my brain intact.
The good news out of the whole Shriner's thing is now that they're going to build it on a contaminated waste dump, they'll have decades of ready-made research into how three-eyed children are formed.
Yup, good old French-Canadian logic at its best.
We here in BC can sympathize: we've been losing federal contracts to Quebec for at least the last 30 years.
